The Notebooks of Lazarus Long is a selection from Robert A. Heinlein's 1973 novel Time Enough for Love.  I have found them to be a remarkable series of insights on life.  They are presented here in a "quote of the day" format in order to bring these thougth-provoking pearls of wisdom to a new audience.

I would encourage anyone who is not familiar with the works of Robert A. Heinlein to visit their local library or bookstore.
